Meeting regularly in conjunction with High Peak CWC ,the Association and Club were founded by Buckshot at the same time.
Our aim is to promote the safe use of blank firing replicas of the type in use in the Old West. We have a core membership and extend a warm and friendly welcome to visitors and newcomers.
We share experiences associated with our interest in firearms of The Old West, swap notes and indulge in regular competitions.
We meet up at the High Peak CWC special events to hold daytime competitions with awards made to winners.
These events take place early afternoon usually over two days and involve various styles of "fast draw" to add interest. An
award is made to the overall winner and also to the winner of each style. This is in addition to our usual evening "6 & 3" competition.
Newcomers are welcome as are spectators, and we can usually arrange loan and instruction in the use of "rigs" to anybody expressing an interest.
We can advise on suppliers of rigs and blanks and also where repairs can be carried out.
